- Wife to a wonderful husband for 20 years
- Mother to three precious children for 16 years
- Has a degree in Composition & Linguistics and a Paralegal Certificate
- Spent a year traveling throughout the mid-west as a professional portrait photographer
- Worked for 8 years as a Paralegal
- Quit working outside the home when she felt God's call to stay at home with her children (Okay, I'll be honest, I fought it for about 1 1/2 years before I actually obeyed, but I've never regretted it.)
- Worked as the director for her church's Mothers' Day Out program for 2 years
- Has homeschooled her children for 11 years
- Hobbies are scrapbooking, reading and counted cross-stich
